About Me

I'm a software engineer focused on backend and data engineering. I've designed and shipped RESTful APIs and, more recently, large-scale ETL pipelines — building data workflows on Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for the insurance sector, after years of Java/Spring development across banking (3DS secure payments), telecommunications and healthcare.

My work spans the full delivery cycle: modelling data and APIs, containerising with Docker and Kubernetes, and shipping through CI/CD. I've collaborated directly with international clients across Europe and the US, translating business requirements into maintainable, production-ready systems.

I hold a Master's in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, where my thesis on monitoring atmospheric impacts and predicting air pollution grew into open-source machine-learning projects. I value clean, well-tested code, pragmatic design and continuous learning — and I'm comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

AQRA — Air Quality Monitoring

Air-quality monitoring for North Macedonia, built as two deployed services. A Flask REST API trains and serves machine-learning models that forecast pollutant levels from weather and sensor readings, documented with Swagger and backed by MongoDB. A Vue 3 single-page app renders those readings as a Leaflet pollutant heatmap with a 24-hour time slider and Chart.js history, and also ships as a Capacitor mobile app. Both run as containers on Kubernetes behind Nginx.

CrowdTune — Crowdsourced Event Music

Turns any event into a shared playlist. Guests scan a QR code to request and vote on songs with no signup, and a big-screen display auto-plays the crowd's current winner through the YouTube IFrame Player. A Spring Boot API on Java 25 handles events, voting with atomic counters, per-guest QR passes and a Server-Sent Events stream that pushes leaderboard changes in real time; a Vue 3 single-page app renders the guest, host and display surfaces. Events belong to an organization, so a team shares one plan across roles, and paid tiers add catalog search, white-label branding, analytics and recurring nights. Runs as a single-host Docker Compose stack behind Caddy with automatic TLS.
